Passionate Breeder
Bunny+Barrel Co. is an ARBA and NATRC Member. We are located in the HEART of Tennesse, Hartsville, TN to be exact... Specializing in raising Fully Pedigreed American Teddywidder rabbits, we have dedicated ourselves to developing the breed's SOP and nurturing friendly, healthy family pets.
My journey into the world of these adorable bunnies began a few years ago at the county fair with my 3-year-old son. His excitement about the rabbits sparked a shared interest, and we started researching different breeds and their care together.
That's when we discovered the American Teddywidder, a fluffy, cuddly breed with a unique charm. We instantly fell in love and knew we wanted to be part of their exciting journey towards ARBA recognition.
Since 2022, we've been immersed in the wonderful world of breeding and developing Teddywidders. Located in the heart of Tennessee, we've shipped our bunnies all across the US, thanks to our trusted network of transporters.
We're committed to responsible breeding practices, focusing on health, temperament, and adhering to the Standard of Perfection. Our goal is to produce happy, healthy Teddywidders who will bring joy to families everywhere.

American Teddywidders: More Than Just a Fuzzy Face! 🐰💕
These adorable dwarf rabbits are taking the bunny world by storm, and for good reason! While they share the fluffy charm of other wool breeds, Teddywidders have some unique traits that make them stand out:

Full-Body Wool: Unlike Angoras or Lionheads, Teddywidders have luxurious wool covering their ENTIRE body, including their face and ears. This gives them an irresistibly cuddly, teddy bear-like appearance. 🧸

Lop Ears: As they mature, Teddywidders develop those iconic floppy ears that just scream "hug me!"

Sweet Temperament: Known for their gentle and docile nature, Teddywidders make wonderful family pets and therapy animals. Their calm demeanor and love for cuddles are simply unmatched. 🥰

Easy Grooming: While their wool requires regular brushing, it's surprisingly less prone to matting than other wooly breeds, making grooming a breeze!

Dwarf Size: Teddywidders typically weigh between 2.5-3.5 pounds as adults, making them a manageable and portable pet.

Purchasing Policies:
Reservations: Rabbits are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis with a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Payment: The remaining balance is due at the time of pick-up. We accept PayPal (Friends & Family to Mdallmann09@gmail.com) or Venmo (Friends & Family to @bbrabbitry).
Pick-Up: Buyers are responsible for arranging transport. We can recommend reliable services. Pick-up dates are provided upon reservation.
Health: Rabbits are sold healthy to the best of our knowledge. We are not responsible for health issues arising after the rabbit leaves our care.
Age: No rabbit will be sold before 8 weeks old.
Gender: While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the sex of young rabbits. Please double-check at pick-up.
Age Restrictions: We do not sell to minors.
Pricing: Prices vary by age, sex, type, color, and quality ($150-$300).
All Sales Final: We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
••Additional Information:
Boarding: If your bunny needs to stay longer than three days past the pick-up date, a $10/week boarding fee applies. If you fail to pick up your bunny without communication within 48 hours of the agreed-upon date, your rabbit will be forfeited and relisted.
Late Pick-Up: Local buyers must arrange pick-up within one week of the ready date to avoid boarding fees.
Transport: We will hold rabbits for up to one month from the ready date without a boarding charge. After that, $10 a week boarding fee.
Rehoming: We never want our bunnies in shelters. If you need to rehome a bunny purchased from us, we will gladly assist or take them back, but refunds are not provided.
Timely Communication: Please be punctual for pick-ups. We value your time as much as our own. If you are late, we will reschedule once, but if you are late a second time, you forfeit your rabbit and deposit.
